When Honda went electric
Honda designed the EV Plus as a purpose-built electric car in 1997, then leased it in small numbers rather than selling it. Two more limited EVs followed, the Fit EV and the Clarity Electric, before the Prologue arrived in 2024 — a GM-built SUV on Ultium hardware, and Honda's first electric model aimed at volume.
